So I'll be 30 weeks in 2 days. Wow! We're almost there! I'm feeling good, just more tired these days. The heartburn in the last couple days has increased significantly! As are the under the rib jabs. This baby has some power! Still very very active. I wonder if that's a sign... the baby moves non stop from about 8-11PM, but does seem to go to sleep while I'm sleeping. Our bed is pure comfort, I love it...I've been sleeping great until the last couple of nights, but it is becoming a little more difficult to roll over in bed. The braxton-hicks contractions are very frequent, my body is preparing for labor! My midwife appointments are every 2 weeks now, and soon she'll do a visit to the house. My birth kit is good to go! We do have an ultrasound on Monday just to check placenta location, size and amniotic fluid levels. Everything is great, but it will be nice to see the position of the baby and just be sure things are good for a home birth. Owen touches my belly, giving hugs and kisses quite often. It's very sweet. We also hear him in pretend play a lot talking about his baby brother or sister. I'm still convinced it's a boy, and Kevin still thinks it's a girl. It's a short matter of time before we meet this little one to find out!
